We focus on improving muscle and joint issues in these areas through exercises, manual therapy techniques, and patient education tailored to improve pain, flexibility, muscle strength, joint mobility, and overall function.

We know that playing sports always comes with the risk of injury, that’s why we provide tailored programs and exercises alongside hands-on techniques and education on injury prevention and management specific to your sport. E.g. pre/post surgical rehabilitation for shoulder, hip, knee replacements Surgery is never fun. We know that it is painful and costly, that’s why at Paradigm, we aim to provide personalised treatment plans aimed at giving you the smoothest recovery possible. Prehab is also important for surgery! Did you know that it is very important to start the rehab process before you have the surgery? This has been shown to give better outcomes.

Dry needling is one of our adjunct therapies used in the treatment of muscle pain and tightness How does it work? We use dry needles to treat and stimulate muscles by inserting thin needles into specific points in the body to promote pain relief, and improve muscle tone. E.g. Fractures and joint injuries Casts and splints are used to support and protect injured bones and soft tissue, aiding the healing process and promoting proper alignment and stability during recovery.

Symptoms include: Spinning sensation, dizziness, loss of balance, nausea, and vision or hearing difficulties. Vertigo is a terrible feeling and we understand how debilitating this can be. At Paradigm, our physios are trained to use manoeuvres to help reposition the dislodged crystals in the your ear back into place thereby improving your symptoms.

TMJ

TMJ (Dysfunction and Jaw pain)

E.g. Jaw pain, Jaw related headaches, locked jaw TMJ physiotherapy involves manual therapy and activity modifications to alleviate pain, improve mobility, and restore normal function in the jaw, surrounding muscles, and related areas.
